New Squarespace website design for Seventh & Stone

Barbara Stellmach, the owner of the store Seventh & Stone, contacted me about working on her website design. A fellow Etsy seller, Barb creates beautiful and unique handmade jewelry – she incorporates Lake Superior stones into many of the designs, which are inspired by her gorgeous surroundings on the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. Along with her own designs, Barb carries a carefully curated selection of handmade goods, crafted by artisans – many of them from her area.

She wanted a website that was clean and well-organized, showcasing the products with links to the individual artists – such a great way to convey the wide array of talent that goes into creating these items. Our collaboration resulted in a lovely, functional site design and its corresponding mobile version. Barb has been a pleasure to work with, and I'm so excited about the final product! You must click over and check it out (and there's a link to her Etsy shop in the navigation!) - and if you're lucky enough to live nearby, stop in and see her at Seventh and Stone!

tiffany blue invitation designs {new in the etsy shop}

My most popular color request right now is this pretty shade of Tiffany blue - here are two new invitations I'm adding to the Etsy shop today. These designs were created as I was working on a theme for a baby shower to prepare for my new niece, Penelope, due in March - so excited! These are perfect for a baby shower, bridal shower, or party invitation, and can be customized with or without the bows.

I love the preppy stripes and coral accents on this one

and the simplicity of this one:

There are tons of fabulous party decor ideas on Pinterest that would be perfect with this theme.

busy busy {custom invitations • etsy shop}

Hello there, dusty old blog! I have had great intentions of posting some new stuff, but it has been a CRAZY few months. I have been so excited that my little Etsy shop has become really busy this spring. I have worked with some wonderful, fun, kind people, and I'm looking forward to featuring some of them here. Recently, a new customer contacted me. She hosts an annual girls' night party and wanted help with a custom invitation.

She decided to go with a "movie night" theme, and wanted something with a slightly retro look to it to go along with these popcorn buckets she found. Here's what we ended up with:

I wish I could go! Sounds like a fun night. :)

Around that time, a soon-to-be high school graduate and her mom contacted me about the retro circles invitation I have in the shop. They liked the bright, fun colors and wanted to know if I could adapt it into a graduation party invitation, with a second side to include more photos and a bible verse. I was more than happy to put something together!

Such a pretty girl, and I love how the colors in the photos worked with the background!

So how has the spring been for you, blog world?
